Lamborghini launched the first commercial for the new model, the Aventador. In the three minute long advert, which was filmed in the California desert, the Aventador has to battle several natural elements, including a huge sand storm. Unveiled at the Geneva auto show, the Lamborghini Aventador replaces the Murcielago in the company's line-up. It's powered by a 6.5-liter V12 that's good for 700 hp and 690 Nm of torque. With the help of all those horsepowers, the Aventador can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 2.9 seconds, which puts it directly into the hypercar category. Lamborghini says the Aventador is able to reach a top speed of 350 km/h, which is more than enough for any public road on the planet.
Unfortunately, the price list of the Lamborghini Aventador says most of us will never get the chance of driving one. Lamborghini is selling it for 379.700 USD in the United States and for 201.900 GBP in the UK.
